Rosemary Douglas says she secured a court order for child support after her son with Urban Joseph Grass, Gerald, was born in 1950.
She claims Grass never paid while he claims he never knew anything about the order.
Grass now has a new lawyer, Pedram Mansouri, who says he and his 82-year-old client aren't worried. The lawyer believes he can make the situation go away quickly and suspects Douglas is just down on her luck.
Douglas insists she tried in vain for years to reach Grass and have him to release funds from his military allotment to assist with the child support. She said he refused.
Douglas later married and had two more children. Her son Gerald, who’s now a grandfather himself, recently retired from serving 32 years in the Air Force.
